A test vehicle and supercar in one. In 1991, the innovative Mercedes-Benz C 112 served as a technological prototype while reaching a top speed of over 300 km/h. Built in near to series conditions, the mid- engine racer was used by Mercedes-Benz exclusively for research purposes. Its goal: to positively influence driving stability using new electronically regulated assistance systems.
